Finding And Using Your Manual Color Correction Tool

Your PSP does not have the Manual Color Correction Tool automatically available to you in your commands.  You have to customize your program to use this tool.  This is just a simple tut on where to find it and add it to your tools and a few basics on using it.  Since I use it quite a bit in my tuts, I thought that I would throw this up there for any of you who do not know how to find it.

Go to the top and click on View and scroll down and click on Customize.

You will get a window that looks like this and you want to click on Unused Commands in the left column and then scroll down in the column on the right and find the Manual Color Correction Tool.

Click on it and drag it into the drop menu of your choice.  I put mine in Enhance Photo…

There you have it…your Manual Color Correction Tool:)

**Note that it works best if you Desaturate before you use this tool, if you are working with something that has is not a solid color.  Then, you just choose the medium shade of gray and for your Source color and the color of you choice for the Target
Here is an example:
I started with this

Selected only the area that I wanted to change the color of and I Desaturated it
Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Hue/Saturation/Lightness

Opened my Manual Color Correction Tool and changed the rose to blue

Walla!
Most artists do not allow any type of color change to their tubes, you need to check their TOU first, if you are planning to use this on a tube.  I use it for elements, papers, templates...etc...
